Child Development and Caregiving 12

Child Development and Caregiving 12 is a course where students will study healthy practices regarding preconception, pregnancy, childhood and beyond. Nutritional needs, cultural differences and varying theories of child-rearing will all be studied.

Unit 4 - Caregiving Styles

Unit 5 - Legal Obligations

Unit 6 - Child Care Options and Programming

IQ Projets - 50%

Assignments - 20%

Final Projects - 10% 

 

Before you start a unit project, you must submit the Unit's Learning Guide.

 

As you work through units, use the projects to enhance your understanding in areas of interest and/or weaknesses. If you wish to explore another area of interest within a topic area, feel free to propose your idea to your teacher.
